Veterans Campground on Big Marine Lake is a 501(c)(3) non-profit campground for honorably discharged veterans and current military members, their families, and guests.
Current project: Cabins 1 & 2
Time frame of renovation work: April 2016 to April 2017
We are now accepting donations for the rebuilding of Cabins 1 and 2. To date, we have renovated or rebuilt 10 of the original 12 cabins (from the 1930’s) into fully modern cabins. It is solely through donations and grants that we are able to complete this major project, with donations going for cabin materials and furnishings. Labor is donated by generous volunteers and retirees of the community, campers, and local unions who give both time and talents. We thank you immensely for supporting Veterans Campground’s effort to bring each of our original cabins to a quality standard so deserving of our military veterans, and to make them better handicapped accessible.
